Accès transports viables is a non-profit organization bringing together users and socio-economic organizations concerned about the future of mobility in the Quebec City metropolitan region.  

The main mission of Accès transports viables is to promote sustainable modes of transportation and to defend the rights of users of public transportation (public transit, carpooling, carsharing) and active transportation (walking, cycling).

The Réseau de transport de la Capitale (RTC) is the public transport authority serving the territory of the agglomeration of Quebec (cities of Quebec, Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures and L’Ancienne-Lorette). It plans and operates public transport services in this territory. Its network is currently served by buses. The RTC provides Paratransit services. Those are operated by the Service de transport de la Capitale (STAC).
