1) Where are you from, and where did you study?
I’m from Quebec City, and I’m doing a master’s degree in rehabilitation with a thesis at Université Laval.
2) What motivates you to make the world more accessible?
The inequities experienced and perceived in my former professional career.
3) In simple language, describe your research project/the project in which you are collaborating.
We are currently working to better understand the needs and perceptions of parents who are eligible for paratransit, knowing that the service struggles to meet the needs of this population.
4) What are your hidden talent and your greatest quality?
My humor (even if it’s not appreciated by everyone). My perseverance is my greatest quality.
5) What is the best way to make yourself smile?
Puns and crazy stories!
6) What do you like to do during your hobbies?
Being with my family, walking in the woods, playing music, singing, seeing friends, camping, fishing, going to music festivals, napping in the great outdoors.
7) What place in the world do you dream of visiting?
Anything in the north that’s less touristy, I like beautiful scenery.
8) Which book you have read or movie you have watched that has inspired/marked you the most?
I’ve read Lord of the Rings on several occasions, but I’d say Catherine Dorion’s Les têtes brûlées: Carnet d’espoirs punk fits my adult personality better.
9) If you could have dinner with a known researcher/scientist/clinician/person who would it be and why?
Guylaine Demers to discuss all aspects of inequity and how she managed to pass on scientific data so easily to the public.
