Join us for the National Symposium on Long COVID Research and Rehabilitation-Informed Pandemic Preparedness at the University of British Columbia’s Point Grey campus in Vancouver, BC.

This symposium will explore how rehabilitation sciences can support pandemic preparedness. It will bring together researchers, clinicians, and people living with Long COVID to share ideas, build connections, and help shape future research.

When: October 13–14, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (ahead of the 4th Canadian Symposium on Long COVID)

Where: UBC Point Grey campus (room details coming soon). Streaming to view some sessions will be available.

Format: The program will include panel discussions and interactive working sessions that highlight a range of perspectives and experiences. A keynote speaker will be announced soon.

Focus: This year, we will focus on how lived experience and community perspectives can improve access to rehabilitation and approaches to care for people with Long COVID.

Who’s involved: This event is a collaborative effort led by people with lived experience of Long COVID, along with the Post-COVID-19 Interdisciplinary Clinical Care Network (PC-ICCN), faculty members from University of British Columbia, University of Toronto, and Université Laval, and members of the Rehabilitation Science Research Network for COVID, and the Long COVID Web Network.
