KT Spotlight: SWAN Community Forum 2024
On October 18, the SWAN team collaborated with their partners to host a community forum on urban accessibility in Burnaby, BC. In the morning they hosted a world cafe, bringing together city planners, councilors, disability advocates, researchers, and people with lived experience. In the afternoon they hosted an experiential pop-up open to the public to engage community members in five interactive stations. Read on to learn more about what was learned and created!

Samna is the Knowledge Mobilization Coordinator on the MAP-SWAN (Stakeholders’ walkability/wheelability audit in neighbourhoods) team
Marie-Hélène is a Master’s student in rehabilitation at University Laval and a communications assistant with the MAP project!
