KT Spotlight: SWAN Community Forum 2024

MAP-SWAN team, DemSCAPE, SFU Civic Innovation Lab, SFU Centre for Dialogue and Happy Cities

On October 18,  the SWAN team collaborated with their partners to host a community forum on urban accessibility in Burnaby, BC. In the morning they hosted a world cafe, bringing together city planners, councilors, disability advocates, researchers, and people with lived experience. In the afternoon they hosted an experiential pop-up open to the public to engage community members in five interactive stations. Read on to learn more about what was learned and created!
