MAP Project Spotlight: SAMI Project — An accompaniment program can improve confidence and autonomy in the use of public transport by people with mobility limitations
The integrated mobility support service (SAMI) is a resource dedicated to improving user understanding and satisfaction with RTC services and possibly increasing the use of public transport services by people with mobility limitations.

SFU researchers interviewed board members, staff, and senior centre members at six not-for-profit senior centres in Metro Vancouver and found strategies for researchers and community-based organizations to engage in meaningful partnerships. Read more
Rendez-Vous Avec Farinaz and Margaux
Farinaz is a Graduate Research Assistant with the SWAN project at Simon Fraser University. Her research focuses on identifying barriers and facilitators to walking for older adult immigrants in urban neighbourhoods. Read more
